sheekl
first began writing music at the age of 3. Initially using only spoons
and broken bits of wire he soon developed the capacity for making a great
deal of noise, a capacity he still retains, although now he uses more
than spoons, and the wires he uses work. Deciding that musically the eighties
were a write off he didn't make music again until the dance explosion
of the early nineties, where his dark beats and throbbing basslines earned
him no reputation at all, mainly because his tunes were rubbish and no-one
ever heard them. Things have changed since then, no-one still hears his
tunes, but now they're good.
In 2003
sheekl released his first album, File Under Uses Unknown. It was a limited
edition release with only 18 copies being produced, and thus failed to
make it into the charts. He finished
his second album, Handmade By Machines (it was named that before that bloke did one called Handbuilt by Robots (which is just a phrase nicked from a Fiat ad from the mid-80's anyway)), in 2007. Again a limited release, there are still a few left so click on buy to get hold of one.
