This is more of an aesthetic travel project than a typical podcast. I plan to record the sound of a journey down some interesting streets of the world. It will be a very occasional project as I can't afford to travel much.

STREETS # 1 - High Street, Walthamstow, London, England

Walthamstow High Street has the longest street market in europe and it's rich cultural mixture is reflected in the recording. I walked slowly from the top (where it meets Hoe Street) to the bottom of the High Street. I have not altered the recording except to add a fade in and out, so there is a little wind noise occasionally and when it got very crowded someone hit the mic.

STREETS # 2 - Old Town (Stare Miasto) to New Town (Nowe Miasto), Warsaw, Poland

Warsaw old town was rebuilt to the original plans after being destroyed in World War II, and is now one of the main attractions for visitors to the city. I started at the end of Świętojańska and then proceeded through the old town square, past the Royal Palace and then along Krakowskie Przedmieście. I stopped recording at the statue of Copernicus outside the Staszic Palace. There was quite a lot of wind noise in the recording, so I have removed the very low frequencies to reduce it's impact.
