This is more of an aesthetic travel project than a typical podcast. I plan to record the sound of a journey down some interesting streets of the world. It will be a very occasional project as I can't afford to travel much, this is also the reason the first few will be in London.

STREETS # 1 - Walthamstow High Street - Saturday 22nd September 2007

Walthamstow High Street has the longest street market in europe and it's rich cultural mixture is reflected in the recording. I walked slowly from the top (where it meets Hoe Street) to the bottom of the High Street. I have not altered the recording except to add a fade in and out, so there is a little wind noise occasionally and when it got very crowded someone hit the mic.
